Plot of the Creep + Shrinkage variation, elasticity modulus for any defined concrete element  and relaxation for prestressed steel can be viewed via this pad. In the upper part of graph the creep curve will be shown (PHI(t)),lower part shows the shrinkage curve (EPS(t)). Presentation of E-modulus and relaxation curve can be seen in a separated pad. Define the appropriate values (Items described below) in the boxes and choose REDRAW to see the graph for the currently defined data.

SettingDescription
Elnum The Plot defined element number will be shown.
Max-time Maximum time, for which the time dependent function will be calculated and represented.
LoadTime T1-T5 Display of the creep curve for five different loading times.
Button << Clicking the button the creep and shrinkage curves for the FIRST element in the structure will be shown.
Button < Clicking the button, the creep and shrinkage curves for the element BEFORE (next number down) is shown.
Button > Clicking the button, the creep and shrinkage curves for the element AFTER (next number up) is shown.
Button >> Clicking the button the creep and shrinkage curves for the LAST element in the structure will be shown.
Redraw Redraw the curve after having changed the values above.
Plot to file The curve of the current element (Creep+Shrinkage and E(t)) will be plot to the free plot file name (i.e. pltf002.pl).
Set Open the table of variables being important for the calculation of creep and shrinkage curves. The user can change the values and check the differences of the curves.
E(t) Graphic presentation of time dependent Youngs Modulus
Rel(t) Graphic presentation of time dependent relaxation for prestressed steel
Note: If the curve does not exist, there are three possibilities:
  • the assigned material has no definition of time dependent variables  (CHECK : Properties/Material/Info and Structure/Tendon)
  • the variables does not exist (CHECK : Properties/Variable). If they don't  exist, import the files CEB78.rm or CEB90.rm,…
  • the values of the internal variables are zero (CHECK : Properties/Variable/  icon SET). If they are zero, check the material values!
Note: The graphic presentation of the curve can also be plotted. Use the action PlCrSh in one of construction stages in the construction schedule.
